Representing members:

The PWBA works closely with the three Ward Councillors, the Petts Wood & District Residents' Association, Cheryl Curr (London Borough of Bromley Town Centre Manager) and the Safer Neighbourhoods Team to address issues relevant to it's members.

Shopping area:

The shopping areas of Petts Wood are situated either side of the main railway line, joined by the station and a footbridge; Petts Wood East includes Station Square, Rice Parade, Petts Wood Road, Fairway and Bluston Parade; Petts Wood West includes Queensway, Chatsworth Parade and West Approach.

Events:

The PWBA take the lead in organising the annual Petts Wood Christmas Carnival and is also a member of the orgainising committee of the annual May Fayre at Petts Wood Hall. These traditional events are well established in the calendar, bringing the whole of the Petts Wood Community together.

Petts Wood Christmas Carnival 2011

This year, the Petts Wood Christmas Carnival will be held on Saturday 26 November. The festivities will start at 12:00, with children's rides and live performances of music and dance. A highlight of the day will be the switching on of the Christmas Lights from 17:30 followed by a spectacular fireworks display. The Petts Wood Christmas Carnival takes place in Station Square and along Queensway. We expect over twenty stalls, fairground rides and live performances for all the family.
